Cara membuat:
- Cuci bersih bawang merah iris sampai tidak ada getahnya.
- Tiriskan
- setelah benar-benar tidak ada air yang menetes lumuri bawang iris dengan garam
- Siapkan minyak sayur panas kira-kira sampai bawang terendam semuanya
- Setelah minyak panas masukan bawang ke dalam minyak
- Selalu diaduk dan perhatikan api sedang
- bila sudah agak kecoklatan kecilkan api sambil di aduk terus
- Angkat bawang yang sudah kecoklatan.
